    The Fiddler's Dream (LP) [VINYL] John Moreland. out of 5 stars Vinyl. £ The album is a classic and is highly recommended if you like great harmonies with a folk /rock sound. The 2nd cd in the set is OK but not worth the increased price when compared to the cost of /5(5). Reply

    Robin Dransfield's liner notes explain that the group came a bit too late in the folk-rock scene, missing the wave of popularity of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span (though this album really doesn't sound like either of them) in the early 70s; by , when the album was released, the British music scene was on the verge of a seismic shift 5/5(2).
